HI all thought you might like to take a look at this:

seems pretty obviouse up to until the "resetting part" or am I over looking
something?

May get a brass lock adn make one myself.

The puzzle part is getting the broken key bit out of the keyway after opening the padlock.

Yes I thought that the opening would be dead easy - I noticed there was a small hole in the "broken off" key.

I also notice that the key locked in the shackle is cut differently than the broken-off key.
With the lock open, the 'freed' key becomes a usable tool; I'm sure that's part of the solution.

Yes but it is "Handmade in Israel by a skilled artisan," and what is more:-

"it's a real puzzle!" Not one of thoes fake puzzles that you see so much of these days.

A lot of hte prices on grand illusions are high but they do have some nice stuff.

I am sure that the likes of Ian or Mick could knock something like this up quite easily!
