"Prior commitment" by Simon Aronson is in my opinion a fantastic trick and I believe its one of, if not the best trick in the book. I have personally performed this for laymen and magicians and I cannot stress enough how mind blowing this is...it KILLS people. I would also like to add, it retains the order of the deck (to some extent) after the trick is finished...so you can go straight into "out of this world"...or what I do is...I go straight into "Ramjollock" by Benjamin Earl which works beautifully....I should also point out that both these tricks are very easy.
> Top Hat: I do not understand what you mean when you say "Prior commitment" is a deeply flawed trick from a psychological point of view. Certain aspects of the trick are slightly illogical but this completely flies above the heads of the spectators. Can you please explain what you mean by this statement? Rob |

Another one I very much like is Dead Reckoning by John Bannon in Dear Mr. Fantasy. A wonderful trick in which someone loses a card and you locate it very neatly.
Both this trick and Supra Gemini, which I mentioned in an earlier post, are fully examinable afterwards. John |

Simon performs Prior Commitment on Youtube. I thought I had it figured out until he spread the cards face up at the end! ;^)
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

Humans make life so interesting. Do you know that in a universe so full of wonders, they have managed to create boredom. Quite astonishing.
