Hey everyone,
I do some cups and ball stuff but wanted to find a good routine and Gazzo's is amazing, but I'm hesitating to get this DVD for some reason.
Any feedback?

I have not seen Gazzo's DVD, although I have the booklet that goes with it. I seems that it's a very direct, easy to follow routine with many surprises. Frank, http://www.theambitiouscard.com Starsini talked me into getting Carl Anderson's Table Hopping Cups & Balls. After watching the DVD, I emailed him to say thanks.
After too many years in magic I decided to finally learn a C&B routine. I'm working on the Anderson routine and hope to use that as a base to develop my own routine from. Plagiarism: Stealing from one source. Research: Stealing from many sources. I research.

Spencer -- I think what was trying to be expressed was the idea that in order to develop your own routine, it helps to look at lots of different routines. Then you will be in a position to create your own take on it.

Although I have not seen the Gazzo DVD, it's my understanding that it is a "street" routine, with the emphasis on lots of patter and audience byplay. If you have all the basic C&B moves down, then this would probably be instructive. If not, you might be better off with the Michael Ammar 2-disc DVD set, which includes all the possible moves and teaches you how to think about constructing your own routine. SETH

Spencer: What I tried to say, (obviously poorly), is that I'm looking at a lot of things in order to come up with a routine of my own that I will be comfortable with. Not being particularly clever, innovative, or imaginative, what I usually do is take bits and pieces that appeal to me from many sources, and come up with something that I like. That last line referred to me, not you. Sorry if it upset you.

I'm sorry, I overreacted, I also expressed myself incerrectly by saying that I am trying to find a new ROUTINE what I meant was I wanted to find some new moves and ideas for an OTHER routine, again I am sorry if I overreacted.
All the best,
SP
