Is there any point in buying both these items? I have both and fail to see any further benefit in either decks. I do think Invisible handles a lot better. Otherwise, I don't think there is much difference except the color change.

Hi Donnay,
Good question and one that has been discussed here before. Some magicians prefer the Invisible deck over the Brainwave because the effect seems more believable. Other magicians argue that the color change further enhances the effect. It's just a matter of opinion. - Richard |

Donnay,
I would think that "Brainwave" would be the way to go. Just remember what the suit arrangement is. No mathematics involved! Cheers!

I have both and have never used the brainwave even once, I gave it away to a friend for a present. The invisible deck is much easier to do and not as hard, get it.

I think that the scope for comedy byplay before the reveal, brings the invisible deck to the top choice. Also found it quite good for pulling in those "go on then i'm not impressed" brigade.....and impressing them!

WHC,
I think that "Oldtimer's" is starting to set in. "Brainwave" is what I meant!!! (I did make the change!)

There is a way to use the invisible deck without using math to find the card. Example: To find the ten of hearts, look at the card AFTER the nine of hearts to find it. That is the best description that I can give without giving away any secrets. PM me for a better explaination.

Invisible deck definitely. Brainwave is overkill.

Brainwave's extra kicker brings unwanted attention to the rest of the deck. I prefer the Invisible Deck.

With Brainwave I usually have someone say "turn over the deck" "let me see the rest of the cards"

The invisible deck has this one thing that's very important. suspension. the card is face down instead of face up. that's a important dramatical idea.
id choose for invisible deck anytime, anyday any year. really |

Invisible deck all the way. In my view it's more believable.

It all depends upon your presentation. I've used both. I like both. Mental Photography is my favorite gaffed deck though because I have a really fun routine for it.

Why not do both? I use the invisible deck more often, but just to take things to a different level, I use a Brainwave deck.

I agree, do both. You will have nothing to loose.
