I just completed the gimmick for Hundy 500 and though it was a bit time consuming to get perfect, it is one gimmick that will now be used daily. It is a very visual surprising effect.

You should get a copy of the Heiny 500. Same gimmick, different (and my opinion superior) handling.

Heiny 500 is sick. I have used the Hundy for a long time now and it has fried people but the Heiny is so visual and the handling is so much more natural and clean. Enjoy your effect, it is a great one.

Thanks for the insight to the Heiny 500. If what you both said about it being superior and sick, I can only imagine how the spectators will see it. Appreciate it.

Hundy 500 is a great trick. But I prefer Greed by Daniel Garcia because the moves look cleaner and it is so easy that it gives you lots of room for better presentation.

Greed is very good but it's not nearly as visual as Hundy. I'd guess even DG would agree with that. They're two vastly different tricks, Brucelee.
Like Bonnie Raitt said, "I miss Little Feat more than I miss being 8 years old." Thanks for the concerts + recordings, Lowell, Richie, and Paul!

Hundy 500 is GREAT ! BUT... you must use $100 bills to get the full effect. It is an expensive trick. If you want to be a working profesional, it could get you that paying gig. Well worth the investment.

Hundy 500 (with 100's) has been one of my staple tricks for the past year. This week I ordered Heiny 500. Looking forward to seeing the new finesse moves.

Heiny is superior, though your talking minor differences that only us magicians would notice. I love how the bills simply fold and unfold during the change, really magical.
In my opinion Greed doesn't hold a candle to either Hundy or Heiny, as far as audience reaction. Any version of Pat Page's easy money effect looks so much better than Greed, which requires so much folding and awkward display. Greed is ok as an effect itself, but its not as good as the 500's |

Odd flipping? I think folding in that manner of greed is odd and obvious. and unlike similar effects the gimmick is to large are change for a regular bill

The Hundy 500 with 100.00 Bills is Great! and very startling to the spectator as well as the Heiny 500.00 Both are very good and visual effects that will leave the spectator speachless!

I see your points, maybe I will reconsider and check Heiny out.

I have done Hundy 500 many times in corporate settings using $1 bills to $20 bills. Although I won’t say it carries the exact same impact, it does pack a wallop! $100 may be a little better but don’t let that stop you from doing the trick. For kids use the same method to turn comics into $1 bills. It still makes them set up and take notice.

Just a personal preference, but I find Hundy 500 to be superior. The spectators focus on one climax. With Heiny, there are more magical moments, but I don't find them to be as strong as the single climax with Hundy. Since the spectators have seen the first change with Heiny, they become accustomed to the second one, therefore making it less magical.

I was reading some threads about using Canadian bills with this, but I'm not sure if the 'different colour bills' problem is resolvable or not. I would really like to get this, but it would be odd for me to carrry wads of US cash around.

Yes, it requires you to be a little more careful as you don't have the same "leeway" that you get with the same colored bills. However, it is still entirely possible IMO (Like I said, I do it on a regular basis and it fries 'em). I did have to make some slight changes. Not handling changes really, just putting your thumb here instead of there, small things like that. I find if you are really careful making the gimmick that makes a big difference. Basically, just be aware if you buy this that you may have to put in a little more work to make it presentable, but it is still entirely feasible. Hope that answered your question. landon |
