Well at first I thought it is some waterproof material, but apparnetly it isn't. Wouldn't mind finding out myself what it is made from.

There is a cloth I found called "Speed Cloth" I don't think it is the same as that.

Yea it is different one, this one is actually waterproof, or at least it seems like it.

I would look to a product named Scotchgard. The kind ofd coat you need will require hanging it outside for a couple days.
Move along, nothing to see here.

I bought some sort of poker cloth off the 'net last year to try to make close up pads with. I clicked on the wrong type. The stuff I got is more like a vinyl awning cover than it is like poker cloth. Gross.

I got some very high quality cloth from casinos, end of the roll not enough to be of any use to them, great for close-up pads. Pool Rooms are a good source when they recover tables. Try a room that has big tournements they often have Simonis which is the best. I got some for friends who were making a table for Hold'em worked out great. You can put it through the washing machine and dryer if it's dirty.

Well I usually get a cloth from the local snooker/pool hall which is 100% wool ….just an old cloth turned over. However I have my reasons for wanting a Synthetic Material and this might do me:
http://www.phoenixgaming.com.au/catalog.php?id=20 I think all it is faux suede fabric that you can get from upholstery places.

Isn't speed cloth the most popular cloth for poker tables?
