Hmm, what kind of writing is that? At first glance I thought it was Enochian, but it's not.
I don't believe in reincarnation, but I may have in another life.

Looks like the symbols out of Claviculae Salomonis. Those planetary/pseudo kabbalistic symbols are used to make magical weapons.
On one side you find the moon, on the other the sun.

Nice! I bet that blade can effect creatutes from higher planes usually immune to the conventionary weapons of mankind... i.e. great for whacking a servitor of the Outer Gods.

Other discoveries: Parisian Brothel Tokens (Chez Rose) - XVIIIth century and various erotica from that Time.
Well, we're working on the contents of a secret cache of Eugene François Vidocq for a loooong routine/show for a friend.
Accessories play a main role in my kind of magic.

This also includes a unique Key/dagger from the same era.

Vidocq was an incredibly interesting character. I first ran across him while doing research on the origins of forensic science. So many stories possible from this one man's life.

If you're still looking here is one from my bookshelves:

'The Encyclopedia of Witchcraft and Demonology' by Russell Hope Robbins.
Published by The Hamlyn Publishing Group Ltd., Hamlyn House, The Centre, Feltham, Middlesex.

Or in the USA by: Crown Publishers Inc., New York, N.Y.

It is exactly what it says on the cover and is in alphabetical order as you would expect with all the names of deamons etc. I have found this a usefull research tool when writing new presentations.

Available on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Encyclopedia-Witch......17362457
