http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IrjV3msAlz8&feature=related This is a really interesting Russian Roulette, because it lets the audience decide which one to "slam" and the audience do it! Edsel,

Too risky to let audience slam paper.

There are certain tricks where a screwup hurts more than your pride:
http://www.break.com/index/knife_in_cup_magic_accident.html I surly wouldn't want to be known as 'the magician that stabs her audience.' |

And after the guy stabbed the women's hand he got applause. I just don't see the entertainment value here - just look for a smiling face...

I perform Randi Rains version of this effect. It's called TETNUS! Let me state that this routine is VERY DANGEROUS (even Randi's version) and should one lose focus, an injury WILL HAPPEN!!!! DO NOT let you vol. do this trick. Have them up there to assist but DO NOT let them perform the trick!

Very true.
I stabbed myself with my own version the other day. How? Well the cups were a little close together and usually I make them move them, but I thought it was ok this time. I was wrong. Randi |
