This is just my personal opinion - don't mean to offend anyone here. I just think it's kind of cheesy and obnoxious to do jokes about a person's name. Not sure why I feel that way. I just always have a feeling that if its the typical joke associated with that name, then they've heard it a million times. Maybe I'm just crabby from hearing all the "Is Clark your uncle?" jokes!

Hey, I don't got any for names but heres a good one another magician told me about. When someone is coming up to the stage really slow you say "Well you're rather slow. Do you work for Canada post?"

I feel that it is not nice to make jokes of peoples names. It’s too much personal joke what can hurt badly.
But joke what I use often is when I ask somebody’s name. I give him new name. – What is your name? – Ann – Mary can you help me |

There used to be an advert for printers that said "If anyone can canon can"
If I ever had a volunteer called shannon I would say at the appropriate point in the routine "If anyone can Shannon can" Noone laughed but I liked it so kept on saying it. I'm stupid and stubborn that way. George |

HAd a show last night and a funny thing happened so I thought I'd post it here. I had a volunteer come up on stage to do the Hobson Egg bag routine with me. I didn't notice it at the time, but the guy was incredibly short. I'd say maybe 5'4" or so. Very short. Having etiquette, I asked him his name and he said MARTIN. I looked at him a quirky smile and said "Martin Short?" The place died laughing. He took it in good stride (although I'm sure he has heard it 1,000,000 times before.) Just a true story so I thought I'd post it.

I had to deal with a lot of "Eddie Spagettii's" (sp) so making fun of names is not something I'd go for.
However a lot of these are very clever.
