Does the participant draw anything they want from a list of suggestions , or from their imagination?

LOL. Sure this has been answered above. They can draw anything at all as long as it is either man made or natural.

Can't reach Vincent's site. The message I get states that his server has reached its bandwith limit (whatever that means). Any advice on how to reach the site or other method of buying the effect?

The basic tool for the manipulation of reality is the manipulation of words. If you can control the meaning of words, you can control the people who must use the words.

Like a lot the method; I need to give a try in the real world to see how practical it is.

This is a breath of fresh air compared to so much I have purchased lately. Great method and they will be looking in all the wrong places for the secret! Bravo! Paul h. |

I read this over last night and it is quite similar to a favorite effect I've been doing for a while but with a different method. I can attest to the fact the effect is nothing short of incredible. Given the proper presentation you can convince the most hardened skeptic that this is real mind reading. The simplicity and cleanliness of method allows you to concentrate on your presentation and sell the effect for all it is worth.
My only suggestion is that the gimmick be explained a little more thoroughly as I have a few questions about it. I will PM Vincent to give me further clarification. I also feel purchasers should realize that this is not really "totally" impromptu. Yes, it is impromptu as long as you carry the gimmick with you-although the effect is certainly worth carrying the small gimmick. Overall, this is certainly a great purchase. Even though I've been doing something very similar this may have certain advantages and make a great effect even greater. I give it a strong "buy". Steve |

Can I just state something without exposing., often when I'm performing it I maintain eye contact throughout my entire cold reading and during the 'behind the back phase'.. its only until the very last moment before I reveal that I causally become aware of what they've drawn, but obviously not exactly the last moment.
Basically you can have eye contact throughout the entire performance with the spectator. and that's what creates the 'mind reading' for me, aswell as the 'manmade or natural question' |

Vincent,
Great suggestion regarding the eye contact...when people read the pdf and see your post above, they will completely understand what you mean. What is great about this is you never have to look at the billet, period. That really does prompt the person being read to think you are for real. Paul h. |

This wasn't explained in the document, but personally if I was going to do the behind the back idea, I would hold the drawing behind my back with one hand and do the dupe with my other, and not bring the original back into view until I had finished
Thus, the behind the back concept is given some kind of reason - 'i will hold it with one and divine it with the other' - otherwise, why the heck are you holding it behind your back and how come the spectator isn't just keeping hold of it? OTHERWISE you have to hold it behind your back...then give it back again/put it down and THEN draw the dupe, which seems incongruent to me Those who own this will know what I mean |

Ok guys,
I tried this out for the first time today so I thought I would throw my tuppence into the mix I would thoroughly recommend putting the effort into a script for this effect, I did and I'm very glad I did so because it forces you to think about your timing and misdirection. Its very tempting to "just wing it" when you initially read the manuscript as its such a great idea and no doubt we have all performed drawing duplication effects before. However there are a couple of subtleties in the effect which, if proper attention is drawn to them, will leave the spectators speechless and really build up an already very impressive effect. For example, the empty hands throughout the performance. If we like it or not, thanks to the exposure of effects on television and the internet, some spectators will be familiar with some of the more common methods of our art. Showing your hands empty throughout the effect will definitely boost the impact and impossibility factor of the effect. When you're thinking about scripting for this effect, remember the points which drew you to the effect in the first place. By incorporating these into your presentation, you are only improving your presentation of the effect. It's an amazing effect, and a real worker. If you haven't bought it already, I thoroughly recommend it. You won't be disappointed All the best Dave

OK, but now the standup/walkaround feel of this is reduced. You are right though. Putting your hands behind your back and then bringing them out again needs some explanation. |
