I think Andrew Mayne will be coming out with a new effect, excluding the two brand new ones!
If you look here, http://itricks.com/news/ there is a picture of Andrew with all of his products behind him. One of the products is called twisted, and I have never seen it. It looks like a dollar bill is twisted half and half. Jeff |

Yeah it looks to look like a distorted bill effect.

Twisted is a new money trick involving a torn and restored signed bill...

And it's restored wrongly, right?

Ahhh this sounds awesome. If it's restored wrongly or not, I'd much rather do this with a bill than a card.

Hey guys,
Got my hands on a preview copy of Twisted and was able to view it last night. The illusion created throughout the routine is very strong and the fact that it's their signed bill going through these amazing mutations makes this effect a winner. Andrew takes you through the entire prep and setup with easy to follow instructions. All of the moves and handling of the bill are natural and the moves won't be very difficult to learn after a few run throughs. You cleanly show the bill torn in half, then fold the halves together. When you start to unfold everything seems normal... then it hits. As you finsih opening the bill completely its a truly stunning and weird thing to look at as the halves are twisted. The spectators will confirm the signature. Revert the process and hand them back their signed bill unharmed. They will leave wondering if what they saw really took place! Andrew also includes a real gem near the end of the DVD. It's a bonus effect where you borrow a bill, tear it up and place the scrunched up halves in their hand. They open the bill and find it to be Twisted with the halves facing each other. Let them keep their bill in that state. Really fun and interesting piece of magic. I think this my 2nd favorite effect behind Ghost Bills that Mayne has released. Mayne and Money Magic = Guaranteed Winner! Production quality is good as with all of his DVDs, over the shoulder type shots are also used along with step-by-step instructions when teaching the handling. Awesome job Andrew! I'm looking forward to using this often. Eddy Ray |

Wow, thanks for posting that Eddy! How many bills do you have to destroy each time you do this?

If this is half of what Ghost Bills is, it should be a guaranteed winner.
Eddy, have you performed this in public yet? |

I also got a pre-release copy.
What Eddy said holds true, so I'll just add in a few extra thoughts: - The gimmick is really small. You can carry it with you in your pocket or wallet. Needless to say, it's small enough to comfortably fit in your pet kangaroo's pouch. - The gimmick is good for about a dozen performances before you'll need to 'touch it up'. It's a very simple, shouldn't take you more than a minute. If you're doing walk around, 1-2 gimmicks could last you an entire evening, or you could freshen up the gimmick on your break. Quote:

Here it is!
http://itricks.com/store/?p=124 By the way, here's got a great quote from Joshua Jay: “Twisted adds a whole new dimension to the bill change. Now it’s visual! You create an impossible object and then fix it right before their eyes. And the ability to do it with a signed bill fooled me!” - Joshua Jay |
