What set of color changing knives is Bill Malone using on his "on the loose" tapes?

I believe he's using Mogar knives.

Does Malone's routine use the basic black and white knives?
Just wondering if Whit Hayden's mogar knives can also be used with Bill Malone's routine. Or does his routine get into the multi-colored or special sets of knives? Steve |

Bill Malone uses that regular black and white knives. His routine is great as his presentation always leaves the crowd roaring with laughter. He even does the knive shrinking move.

I performed his routine by using Color Changing Knives (Enardoe). I bought it from
Earth's Largest Magic Shop. This is not same one which Bill Malone perform it in his tape. But, no problem at all! because of reasonable price. Koji |

It doesn’t make any difference what knives Malone uses! It’s not the props that makes the magic it is the magician. Honestly the routine can be done with any set of color changing knives (and in any color!). Find the knives that work in your hand.
My preference is a set that has contrasting types of material for handles. That is, I prefer a stag horn (rough) handle and a smooth handle. That way I know what knife (and what side on the gimmick knife) I am grabbing. There is no fumbling and no looking. Heck, once I even bought some cheap pocketknives (three identical knives) from a hardware store and painted the handles to make the odd knife and the gimmick knife. I used a bottle of fingernail polish for the paint. They looked OK and got me through the performances I was contracted to do. We do what we have to

Malone actually exposes the gaff to the audience, and they are still fooled. Great handling!

Bill Malone is not using Mogar knives. Those are really expensive and smaller as well. They are very different in shape too. Bill Malone uses a standard set of Enardoe Knives that can be found at most dealers like http://www.magicsmith.com for $15-$20.
