That is Australian magic superstar Matt Hollywood. I have done tons of voice work for him. His official web site is http://www.matthollywood.com.

Most of the gags used in the card sword I've seen before. However, the blindfold bit (where he wants the host to blindfold him, but blindfolds himself instead) I have never seen before. It's a classic magic trick and a great one at that. He has some great stage presence as well.

The blindfold bit is an old thing, Mark Kornhauser did it on the Stevens "Comedy Magic" video about 20 years ago and I doubt it was original with him.

I believe, but am not certain, that most of the routine is from Mark Kornhouser.

Just for the record, "The Gold Award for Magician of the Year" is made up.

The routine is definitely Mark Kornhauser's.

I believe the card sword is from Uday. I carried them once in my stores. The quality is very very low and they don't last long.
