Hi all,

Here is a short review of a new coin through table (purse) routine from Matt Colman...

For the description and download please follow the link http://www.precisionmagic.com

Pdf manuscript:
This is a well written and easy to understand 8 page manuscript without pictures...

Effect and handling:
As a coin man myself I have to be honest, there is nothing new or groundbreaking here, but the routine is a REAL worker and very well structured (nice flow, each phase works well with the one before) ...

Pros:
Visual and clean looking (particulary the first phase)
Very easy to do (basic sleigths are used)
As mentioned before its a real worker...

Cons:
You need some gaffs

Service:
Great customer service...you pay via paypal and get the file a few minutes later per mail...i think nowadays this is an important information...i also got a "little" gift because I was the first who bought it...thanks David!

Overall:
I can highly recommend this to any serious coin/card/whatever worker who is searching for a visual clean looking and easy to do coin through table (purse) routine with some nice touches

Great work Matt!!!

Greetz from Austria

I'm glad you liked it! Thank you for the great review! If you need any help please feel free to pm me. Also I'm not sure if Chris mentioned this in the edited version but the best purse I've found to use is the small round coin purses (almost circular) with the built in clasp where you push it open near the top. Because of its size it makes the last phase easy peasy lemon squeezy.

I am a little confused. Is this a coin thru purse routine, or a coin thru table using a purse? Thanks -

Both. Coins through purse, coins through table, and purse through table.

You could do it with a midget. Use their mouth for a purse, or something else...

Spectator through table? Hmmm could be a nice two phase routine to Spectator through window. Smile

Yup Bill, its best of 3 worlds!

Why stop at window... spec on ceiling, spec to shoe... spec to wallet.

My fave is torn and restored spec... mismatched Smile

That's already been done on stage.

Ha ha ha ha

Excellent...

Oh, and can someone point me into the direction of where to find this torn and restored mismatched person THEGUY26 said is a stage effect... I know of the zig zag style thing etc, but never seen someone get torn up and then restored mismatched... surely a lawsuit waiting to happen Smile

Its Criss Angel's latest effect for TV.
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

Well, not exactly torn. A woman is put in a boz, with multiple sections. She is then taken apart, and put in a different order, then rearranged.

I have to say that this routine is excellent, and not just because of the heavy brown envelope I received from Matt (no consecutively numbered bills).

Seriously. This is great! Most routines of this nature seem to be created around a move or gimmick. This (although uses gimmicks) is created from a performance perspective. Every detail has been worked and worked in live venues with harsh audiences until it was right.

If you want to play your magic safe, there is something here for you. BUT if, like me, you enjoy being on the edge with your performance, Matt has included some tips that make this effect a killer.

Funny, up beat, and above all magical for any audience.

Highly recommended

It really is great! I am so surprised there is so little talk about this! I do know thought that there is a package with the coin gaffs coming out soon...
