I want to use my laptop to run a DJ Console software to play music and sound effects for my show.
I’m looking to use one USB or PCMCIA port from the laptop to install an audio system to connect it to the PA system. Do you know a good Audio System that could be installed in a laptop? Thanks! |

Mind,
I personally use a Echo Audio- Indigo DJ http://echoaudio.com/ The site is under construction Here is some info from M. Friend. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/E......u=247019 If you do a Google search, the product is highly praised and reviewed. I picked one up on Ebay for about $80.00 G0THIKE P.S. The Creative Blaster Audigy cards are only good for gaming and gamers. |

Thanks G0THIKE,
Actually, I found three options: + Echo Indigo DJ Dual Stereo Can't find manual, site is down. + XP202 XPSound Looks good, waiting some additional info from XPSound tech support. + E-MU 1616M Master Laptop CardBus I think it's too much for what I need. Any other advice is welcome |

Mind,
The XP202 looks like a USB solution. I had bad experiences with USB solutions from Turtle Beach. The E-Mu is $499.00, yikes. Just did a simple GOOGLE Search.
