This item is practically impossible to get, either through auction or new (although I'm chasing new one at the moment). Does anyone have an old one, broken one, misused one that they would be willing to part with?

It would be simpler to buy a set of Hippity Hop Rabbits, put one up on a shelf in storage and use the other one to do the Fraidy Cat routine. If the one you are using ever gets broken, pull down the one from storage and use it instead. Perhaps that explains why they are so hard to locate in magic shops.

I think he's looking for one with the "door", and I don't see how one from a set of HHR would work for that. Different flap method completely. I think I sold mine a while back...I'll look around the studio and see if there's another one somewhere...if there is, I'll let you know.

Unless I am wrong, and that could be possible since I have heard there are several different types of the Fraidy Cat, you'll find it in stock here.

I also think Fraidy Cat Rabbit is still available. I know I ran across it somewhere on the web recently. I hate they discontinued the "New Style Fraidy Cat Rabbit"......the one with the sliding doors. I have one, and I actually prefer it. Mine was getting old and I had to repair it, but it is actually better than ever now. I still wish they were available because someday I may need another.

A Google search comes up with at least a dozendiffernt places that carry this classic effect. It isn't that hard to come by.

Perhaps you could explain to some of us just how to do a Google search, because I can't believe that everybody was really looking.

I have a fraidy cat rabbit that has as sliding door. It isn't the same as the old traditional one. Anyone have any idea as to the patter and workings of this thing. The black rabbit is one on slid a door is slid over in front of it. When the door si slid back it reveals a white bunny on the front and a black bunny on the back. I'll try and post a pic. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I have a Fraidy Cat Kermit the Frog that I've had for years. I like it because children associate with kermit and it makes for a better story, like stage fright, first kiss from Miss Piggy and so forth...
