I am not a big fan of flyers on cars either but...
Most mall policy is No Solicitation WITHOUT PERMISSION. Tell them you don't want to break their policy (shows respect) and that you'd like to do a small free show and hand out flyers after. (Gets you noticed)

Guardian,
Here is a way to get around your two line problem. Cancel your personal line and have an extra listing in the white pages for your business number under your name. It usually cost about $1.25 a month for the extra listing. If you want to keep your personal number than cancel your business line and make your personal number your new business number. Business lines usually cost more than personal lines. There is no way of getting around having the buisness line. Hope this all makes sense. I know it works because I did it. Unfortunatly, I had two lines for years before I figured it out. |

I agree with Pickles, that offering to do a free show in an area that will bring in your target clients is a great way to get yourself noticed and be able to hand out your promotional materials. It is worth it and has certainly worked for me.

There is, in fact, a way of getting around the "business line." Yellow Pages will put a cell-phone number in their book. If you use a cell-phone number as your business number, this works great.

Roy:
That is great information. I also have looked into a yellow pages ad and was told the same information regarding having to have a business line. This is worth looking into.
