Does anyone have this trick? Is it good? Will you give a review? Thanks!

It is a good prop. well designed. you need to be careful with angles. can be done very very closeup but not surrounded.

Just got this last week and I just wanted to report how amazed the specs are when this is done. Everytime I have performed this the specs think this is a small miracle! Yes- you have to be concerned with the angles, but I have had people slightly to my sides and have been able to cover what needs to be covered with the bottom three fingers. Actually I am surprised how good the response is to this. For the price you can't go wrong. Madhatter was selling these at a VERY good price.

I haven't played with this one in a while, time to pull it out of the 'ol drawer. When I performed it before, it got good reactions...quite an impossible looking effect with the dice penetrating the mirror and both of them can be examined afterwards.

Great visual effect, been doing this for ages now but I still remember the first time seeing it at a magic shop, it looked completely impossible.

I used to have to demonstrate this effect in magic shops where I worked and yes it is well made and magicians bought it like crazy. But while I understand that magic need not completely make sense, it should make SOME sense. The effect never clicked with me because it made no sense to push a die through a mirror. Perhaps it's because non-magicians don't carry dice around. I suppose for me the other reason was just that you magically made a die penetrate a mirror and that's it.
The effect is angly and really, though it is not a penetration effect, I would rather see people buy Steve Shufton's Portal because there is so much you can do with it. Die Through Mirror is really a one trick pony. There is little mystery or rather surprise if you think about it: you show a die and you show a mirror. You place the die on the mirror. Only a complete moron wouldn't guess what will happen next. Ahimsa, Vlad |

Currently in my junk drawer. Bad angles make it unacceptable for strolling and it doesn't really work as a stage prop for me either. That's just me, though.

Angles are a little tough, but when you have the right angle, this is killer. People are truly amazed when they hear and sometimes catch the sight of the dice falling.

Be careful too with the mirror provided. I once sliced my finger on it pretty good- it has sharp edges and you have to handle it like a piece of thick glass (which it is basically). Mine did not come with any kind of taped edge on it or anything- that might be a good idea.
