I am waiting too. I just don't know how to express my joy of reading Jack's materials in his Set to Stun and Set to Kill ebooks. The materials are TERRIFIC! I can't wait to read this book.

The production quality is at the highest quality. Besides, the late Jack Parker's essay really touching the heart of ANYONE who read it. Jack, please accept my salute to you in a better place where you are now, where there are no BT's, no piracy ripped offs, only you and all great magic masters we have lost since history of mankind. Thanks Andi to make this book become a reality. Jack Parker 52 Memories have my highest recommendation for those who are serious to card magic.

I ordered this from Andi's website a few days ago.
I'm in the US -- but I'm wondering how this is shipped? I read somewhere that H&R were shipping to US customers? Is that still the case? |

Boinko, we are doing the shipping for Andi for US and Canadian orders. Unfortunately, we are severely understaffed at the moment (pretty much just me!) and I have had some family emergencies and must also take care of H & R business, so my intended goal of having all pre-ordered copies shipped out this last weekend did not get realized! None got shipped today due to the usual distractions! I have shipped about half the orders so far and do believe the other half will be out by the end of this week. If you can provide me with your email address, I'll make sure you get email notification of the priority shipping and delivery confirmation code. Thanks to all who are patiently waiting for their copies, particularly in Canada. Due to the extra paperwork (customs forms) involved, I have not yet started on those, but will try to get the first few on their way North tomorrow, also priority mail.

Just a quick note to let everyone know that we're sending out everybody's books in the same order that they came in, meaning that most people shouldn't experience much of a delay with their order.
Richard Hatch is doing a fantastic job keeping up with the massive amount of orders that I'm receiving through my website at the moment. My guess is that Jack would have been pretty surprised by the mass of orders we've received so far - so thank you everyone for your support! --Andi

I received my copy of this last night. She's a beast! A thick, heavy tome. I have only scanned through it. It may take a lifetime to ingest it all. I love the layout and style of the book as well as Andi's clear descriptions of the effects. I will post a longer review once I have had it for a little while.
Often when we get books, we don't give any thought to the process that goes into them. I was putting together an ebook and it was testing my patience, so I can only imagine the effort, mental exertion, and the many sleepless nights Andi spent putting this together. Thank you my friend, for being the one to shoulder the task of collecting this work of Jack's. I know he would be proud. On the next end is the distribution. Andi is selling all of these himself to ensure that Jack's family gets ALL, you heard that right, ALL of the proceeds. Andi has sent all the orders for the US and Canada to Richard Hatch with the monumental task of shipping them out. Richard runs (IMO) the best online Magicshop for books and dvd's. He is easily approachable and very knowledgeable about all things magic. I sent him a simple query asking about the status of my order. After that we emailed a few times back and forth. He has to send well over 100 of these out, and do his daily tasks of keeping his own shop running. I ask anyone who is impatient(myself included) to give it time. IT IS WELL WORTH IT. Donny |

I received my book the other day. My first thought was the magnificent job Andi did putting this beautiful book of Jack Parker's work together and how it would benifit his family.
While I haven't had enough time to read through the effects yet, I wanted to note a few of the nice features of this book. Andi used a second color (red) throughout the book, which adds a nice touch, especially in the Illustrations. The sleights used are listed in both the table of contents and at the beginning of each effect. There's a trick index at the end. And the book is bound so that it will lie open at the place you want. You couldn't ask for more. If you haven't picked this up yet, do it. It's a Great Book for a Great Cause. Great job Andi! Craig

I've had a few days to go throught Jack Parker's 52 Memories and here are few of my thoughts so far:
The card material is what we would expect it to be coming from Jack Parker. I've already picked out a couple of routines I will be working on. I love the two color illustrations, the second color makes them pop off the page. The cloth cover and paper weight make this tome a high quality investment. A bit more than I would expect from a card book. I'll be buying another one to set aside as an investment. The forward by Jack and the surprise in the center of the book was very moving. I never got a chance to meet Jack in person but I now feel a personal connection with him. He has left a legacy for his wife and children who can be very proud. As a collector I'm torn. On one hand, the lower the number of books sold, the higher the potential collectability it will have. On the other hand, the more books sold, the more money will be donated to charity in Jacks name. I say, I hope this is the biggest seller of all time. Thanks Jack! Jeff Pierce P.S. Thanks to Andi for do a great job for Jack.

All USA and Canadian orders to date have now been shipped. The USA orders should arrive by Wednesday, the Canadian ones toward the end of this week. If you didn't receive email confirmation of your shipment, it is likely because I didn't have a current email address for you. You can get the information from Andi or from me. Thanks for your patience.

Probably the best looking book I've seen for some time. I'm reading through it now and enjoying it (and marking some of the effects I plan to try).
Very nice! |
