I am looking to possibly get some pens made up. The ones with my website address, phone number, and name on them. I was looking for a company that can do this with a pen that looks like a magic wand. However, my web searching up to this point has not netted anything.

Do any of you know where I could find this?

There is a company called 4imprint.com that prints anything. Although I have not seen a magic wand pen, I know they have a rabbit in the hat shaped pen. I have gotten a sample from them, and I am thinking about using it myself. Hope that helps!

You may also want to check out Cafépress.com. They also can print most anything onto specialty products. You may find something there that may work for your needs.

Check with Bob Solari. He gave magic wand pens away at the Metro Magic III close up convention last November. http://www.metro-magic.com

Al, you can get them at a lot of places but have to shop around for which ones you like the best in regards to quality and size, as well as price. I used to get a lot of them from US Toy company. They have a store in Lansdale and can also order online. But lately, I have been getting them from Rhode Island Novelty. There are many more sources out there, but so far I have liked what I am getting now. Hope this helps.

Al, without a wholesale license, the best places are RI Novelty, Oriental Trading, and Kipp Toys.

I really like the ones that Silly Billy has on his site. I've got the standard (without logo) but am considering getting the logo version made through him. More of an investment up front, but I think the promotional aspects will be worth it.

Al, do you have a contact for Bob Solari? I went to the website and found no contact information.

You can PM me if you do not want to post in the open.

Be careful with the wand pens. I had one in my pocket one time just for fun, and because the tips are so incredibly loose, my pants now have a HUGE black stain from the marker side of it. If you do purchase them, make sure that you find a way to attach the lids of the pens MUCH BETTER!!! That way, no one will have a grudge on you if they buy one and the lid comes off!
I want to go far...

They fixed that.

The pens are produced by Magic Makers, and they redesigned them to have a black ball point on one side and a red ball point on the other.

Since several people have mentioned it, let me know if you want to get some as giveaways and I'll add yours to my next order.

But then, if it's a ball point, it totally ruins the added bonus of not carrying a Sharpie around.

Cool idea. I've never seen a "magic wand pen", although there are many companies who will print all the info on plastic wands to hand out. Great for advertising and really cheap.

Hope that helps,
Zach

I carried a Sharpie anyway, because the ink in those sucked. It ran, didn't dry cleanly, smudged easily, and so on.

By the way, if you want the pen to have your contact info, get white decals made with your website or name/number on them. Then, you can just put them on yourself.

I would contact a marketing company near you. There's plenty. I know of two not far from me, as with some that do mail order and sends out catalogs.

I suggest this because they can give you samples of what you like and don't, because pens are funny and you might not really like them for yourself, and you know what you like will be important because you have to put yourself in the other person's shoes.

Also, with getting those samples, the quantities after initial unit cost and screen printing, you might be able to get on a sale or clearance.

These companies have catalogs of almost everything.

And sometimes, what you might like and looks great might not always work for you. Or in the case below, looks great but not really easy to write with.

Like the pen that bends:
