I'd say the gimmick is practical. As for angles well if you do the Invisible Boomerang Card which is the stand up one there will be angle issues either to your right or left. It'll just depend on which hand you use primarily for card magic. As for Card Happening since it requires the table I'd probably say this one doesn't have as many angle issues since your hand does cover most of the issues.

Im not sure there are angle issues really.seen this up close at my local magic dealers-MerlinsWakefield(also Café members)and its so quick there is nothing to spot.
Its the business.Nailing the card on table revelation could be tricky though! |

The gimmick looks easy to construct and could be used for other effects than just the two memtioned.

I have just watched this and think its a great concept and something I will be playing with.
The gimmick looks easy to make and it would work for strolling but it would have to be your opening or closing effect really. The cards can however be used for following effcts. Dean |

Well, it is not really difficult to switch the gimmick and get rid of it, after performing. In that sense it is not necessary a closer or opener.
Having said so, this really hits very, very hard at the beginning of a performance. Last night I did the following - Inspired by L. Green. I loaded the QH prior to the show, then after introducing myself and setting the context, I asked the specs to name me a card. As several people were asking, the QH was amongst it. If not, I would have pretended to hear the QH . . . but again, I was lucky. I proceeded with a really hard hitting miracle. Andy

This is an excellent effect - Sanada has a winner here! Like others, it sure brought a big smile on my face. This is a very clever gimmick and easy to construct.
Highly recommended.

Andy, great idea too! I love it as it eliminates destroying a card (well, depending on the situation because of the value of the signed card). However, your method (loading a card prior to the show) is ingenious! Thanks for sharing
