Hi,
I have both of Ted Lesley DVD's and wonder what other people think of them. His Spectator as the Magician is, in my opinion, worth the price of both DVDs and is a phenomenal effect. One of those rare gems that everyone loves with the EASIEST method, and the spectator always leaves happy with a huge on his face. |

First let me say, love your videos on your webpage and on Penguin Magic. Secondly, I own both of these DVDs as well, and they truly opened my eyes to mentalism. Spectator as a Mindreader takes audience interaction to a whole new level. I also love the Tossed-Out Deck, Super Force, Pro-Monition. Ah heck, I love the complete set. Also, to say that Mr. Lesley is an extremely kind and nice man would be an understatement. He's very giving and generous with his knowledge. |

Hi Oz,
Must admit I'm not familiar with Ted Lesley. Could you please advise as to where I may obtain more info on Mr. Lesley and where I might purchase his DVDs? Thank you. Continued success, Doc Dazzal |

Hi Doc,
you can find out more about his products at his Wonder Workshop in Berlin. Here is the URL: http://www.wonderworkshop.de/ Alternatively, you can get his DVDs from most magic suppliers or from L&L Publishing directly. Magically Yours, David |

I suggest you purchase his great book first, Paramiracles. His DVDs are great also if you are into mentalism.
Don't wait for the perfect moment...Take a moment and make it perfect!!!

I may be alone, but I did not care for the mentalism video. I am a fan of Mr. Lesley. His "Paramiracles" is one of the best books I own. The video may appeal to people new to mentalism, but I don't think it will appeal to more advanced people or people who have read "Paramiracles."

I must agree. Spectator as Mindreader is AWESOME! It is my very favorite effect.
I really like the teleport envelope routine too. Requires more preparation. Ted's presentation on the DVD is really funny, and most importantly these routines are great because of the interaction with the spectator. (IMO) I don't have Paramiracles but it will my next book purchase. I hope that there are a few effects in it that are as strong as Spec as MR! |

Hello Friends,
When I read all the nice comments on my Videos/DVDs and on my book "Paramiracles," it makes a happy man very old - sorry - an old man very happy. My career would have been never possible without the help of many foreign friends like Marvyn Roy (Mr. Electric); Larry Becker; "uncle" Billy McComb; Patrick Page; Allan Shaxon; Milo & Roger; Dany Ray & Marcelle, Liz & Tommy Tucker; to name only a few. And my career depends also on the ideas of many amateur magicians as well. Most of them are clever thinkers and I like it very much to discuss magic and mentalism on a few forums with them. This is one of the reasons that I try very hard to give ALL of you a little bit back of everything you did for me over so many years. So I invite all of you to ask me, if there any problems you have in a trick or a presentation of it. I try ALWAYS very hard to help. I am an entertainer only, who makes his audiences - hopefully - happy for a couple of hours. When the spectators smile or laugh they usually forget the "big bad world" outside. That´s the goal I want to achieve, nothing more, nothing less. Friends, being a mentalist or a magician is a wonderful profession, believe me. Thank you so very much for listening to me! TED LESLEY

I just bought the DVD , and I must say that it is great! I mostly like the effects with cards. Do you have any other recommendations, about mentalism and cards?
Thank you, have a nice day |

I have Mr Lesley's videos and am very thankful that he released them. I have performed Pro-Monition several times and it is very effective. I usually ask the host of where I am performing to help me with the Pro-Monition experiment. When I send them a thank you note the day after performing, I include a duplicate of the card they selected during my show. It really gets their attention.

I have been a friend of Ted Lesley for many years and have had the opportunity to watch him perform in Germany several times. One thing that comes through about Ted is the fact that he loves his audience, and through that is able to communicate with them and entertain them.
There is very valuable material on these DVD's.

Ted Lesely has been one of the few inspirations of mine in magic. His style has only improved over time. The videos were great but the only down side is that some of his best routiens were not on them. But in a way, you can't blame someone for that. They are worth the price. Hell, I found this site from a link from his! Even though I've never met you in person, thanks Ted.
Faith is at the heart of all magic.
