I have both Porper's and Dave Neighbor's version. I like Porper's b/c of the on/off feature of it. Makes it very easy. But for sound Neighbor's is way better. If I had to pick all over again, I'd go with the Neighbor's version.

I just got the voxbox and it looks and sounds great, and blends in if you have any cards on you too

I use Dave Neighbor's version....the sound is best. Using this well will flabbergast your audience, including most magicians.

David's website states that they're out of stock. Anyone know of another source that might carry them?

For my own edification, when you're all speaking of Dave Neighbors' coin rattle, is that the one referred to as the U.R.G.E.? Or is there a newer version?

I've got David's, and the sound is great. It also has a very simple and effective on/off method.

I made a phenomenal rattle with superb sound for pennies. John Kennedy used to make a rattle called coin clink. which was very compact and had an interesting on/off deal.
I had bought the David Roth Tuning Roth routine years ago and was terribly disappointed with the sound of the rattle. Necessity is the mother of invention. |
