Are we describing method or effect?
Life is a system of circumstance presented coincidently in an illusory way.

He didn’t, it was an illusion all along. He made the road cross under his feet.
In loving memory of Hughie Thomasson 1952-2007.
You brought something beautiful to this world, you touched my heart, my soul and my life. You will be greatly missed. Until we meet again “my old friend”. |

Speaking of David Blaine, I heard a comedian use this the other day.
David Blaine on a hunger strike??? Over what? A lack of publicity!?! He is like the Mahatma Ghandi of nothing!

He used the larger movement of crossing the road to disguise the smaller movement of picking his nose.

He crossed the road cause he was walking and he was walking because he had to deliver pizza to someone on the other side of the road.
Joseph - If your answer is correct the question would read why did magician cross the street? Because he was a street magician. MOTO42 - you gave away the secret ot my favotite effect on a public forum??? but I am not telling you how I vanish or detect a sense of smell. |

To get to the magic shop where he will buy the best new pocket trick which uses no skill and works on a new principle never used in magic before and will fit nicely in the drawer next to the same effect he bought years ago with a different title at half the current price.

Various Famous Performances of the Walking Across the Road Trick!!!
Copperfield - Would be willing to cross the road but can only do it if it is foggy outside with a perfect breeze to blow his hair as he crosses. David Blaine: Would cross the road and stand there in the middle for 40 days and nights while people are allowed to throw eggs at him. Upon completion of the crossing, he would have to collaspe and then be raced to the hospital for further study. Hans Klok: Would like to walk across the road but would insist on walking with 2 beautiful women next to him and then have to strike a bizarre poze at completion of getting to the other side. Franz Harrary: Would first have to show you an exact model of the road and exactly where the corwd and cameras will be as he attempts to walk across. He would then have to scream "Let's Do IT!" before he actually starts the walking hehehe To Be Continued Kyle
