OK, so I took some heat on some other jugggling forums for posting "Maniac Juggler" and referring to it as the "oldest juggling video" when technically it's not a "video" since video didn't exist then. But using the word "video" isn't what drew the heat however it was the claim of the "oldest". Seems there are a couple "clips" showing juggling which may be older. "Maniac Juggler" is a full length short film featuring a juggler - you know, with a title, a beginning, middle and end ... NOT A CLIP !!! There, I feel better about that ...

So in posting this clip I didn't want to use adjectives like "Hottest", "Sexiest", or "Most Beautiful" because some cheese weinie would debate me that it was not. So I'll just say it is a circus juggling video (which it is) and let you draw your own conclusions.

Have you never checked out Gatto's Forum, Juggling Talk? It's been around for a while. Mostly a bunch of extremely young pups and a few WJF weenies... However there are a few pros and decent jugglers who visit and occasionally there is a decent discussion. Anthony is a regular visitor as well, so it has been cool to read/hear about his experience on tour with Cirque.

Yeah, those folks just want to be poked with a stick so I give it to 'em.
There's Gatto Talk (which my brother mentioned) and rec.juggling the usenet group. I/we are also members of some local groups like the Atlanta Jugglers Association and NC State jugglers chat groups.

I've worked with Gena a couple of times. The girl can juggle and is easy on the eyes. She is long-time circus and the dad is a piece of work.

And she has a younger sister who also performs.

I think the parents have a dog act?

Gena is phenomenal!!!!
I consider her one of the best Jugglers in the world (I personally think there are 4 alive today, her being one of them).
She is now married into the famous Cristiani circus family.
this video does not do her justice! her skills are above and beyond what you see here. And though it does come through, her performance energy has to be seen!

I first saw Gena Schvartsman when my family went to the Ringling Bros. Circus in 1996. She was amazing. I think she was 13 years old then.

Later, my family went to a tourist site in New Hampshire named Clark's Trading Post, where she and her family performed under the name, "The Grimmy Family Circus". At the end of her incredible act, she juggled 8 balls in a multiplex, and then finally threw them all high in the air, did a forward handspring, and caught every ball!

I learned to juggle 3 balls because of her. I purchased my first juggling balls from her and her dad after one of their family shows.

She is definitely my favorite juggler. I'm not aware of anyone else who does gymnastics the way that she does while juggling.

A friend of mine from Michigan was friends and neighbors with a man named Art Stephans who was the president of the Ann Arbor Silent Film Society. Art gave my friend this film which is reportedly the oldest known recording/film of a juggler known to exist. It was filmed in France around 1907 - 1908. My friend has reproduced it digitally and has posted it on youtube for all to see.
