Is there any "thing" Showing one ball palm empty, then produce four ball?

For example:

http://hk.youtube.com/watch?v=3YSLZ_H_N0Q

At the ending post, he is showing palm empty then produce nine ball.

Is it just 3sXXXX?

I have been using vernet ball climax has stick some sXXXX on it.

But it seems to be not enough for me now.

Thank you

Bond

Chris,

I've tried using tape to stick the 3 sXXXX & one ball.

It can be used but not perfect enough.

I want something better than that.

Since I have heard Japan had a special gimmick which has "joint".

Just curious.

Thanks for you help any way.

This just shows you what creative thinking an a lot of practice can accomplish for you. It looks like this young man used 2-s's and 2 balls. Not gimmicks.

There use to be a gimmick 4 ball set called Nesto balls. They were made of metal and have not been around for years. More recently they have been on the market in chrome metal balls that they do not match any billard balls being sold.

Invest in more videos and books to practice and you can be close to this young mans skill. He makes it look easy, but it is not. That is why he was getting all those reactions from the audience.

I have seen Brett Daniels use a 4 ball instant appearance that I believ eis not gimmick based. I also know that Shimada teaches a 4 ball instant production on one of his videos/dvds I have. This also does not use gimmicks but instaed uses 2 SXXXXX and 2 solid balls. It is a tough move but looks great when mastered.

I've got the Shimada video and his one to four balls is incredible. What is amazing is he is using wooden balls. The move is so good one would be tempted to do it exposed to the audience. That is something, of course, no magician in his or hers right mind would ever do.

David: You are right. That move is simply beautiful that Shimada does. I must have rewinded the tape and watched it many times just because of how amazing it looks. Difficult slight to do but if mastered, it is a killer tool.

Yes, Bret Daniels used the Nesto Ball set when he was doing his Dove Act. The rhinestone Billard Balls were the Nesto Set. Abbott's supplied them to him, just ask Greg Bordner the owner of Abbott's Magic.

If you are speaking of the televison show from Europe, he was uing the white Billard Balls from Japan. This he used multiply sxxxxs for the Flash Four. And does take a lot of practice.

Magic Inc. out of Chicago sold their Multiplying Golf Balls sets with instructions on doing the Flash Four with balls and sxxxxs. They still may sell the instructions in one of L. Ireland's books I believe. L. Ireland was the original owner of Magic Inc., they called it Ireland's Magic Co. back then.

It still take a lot of practice to use a Nesto set.

I do a one to four (instant) production that doesn't use any gimmicks. It's tricky and requires some guts, but is a nice effect.

L. Ireland's method that wmhegbli is referring to also appear in print in Hilliard's Greater Magic.
