Miss D --

Where (if anywhere) does Chris Kenner's copper-silver transpo -- Two Coin Symphony -- appear in print?

Thanks!
Jerry

P.S. Best close-up coin trick nominations:

1) The Mark (marked quarter appears in fob of keychain that has been held by spectator since before the marked coin vanished); put out by Al's Magic.

2) Expansion of Texture (Bobo, Vernon, Roth)

Of the coin routines that I've seen, I would like to add a vote to Sankey's Messiah Vanish. My favorite of his though is Mr. Clean Coins Across.

coins across is good, and the selvester pitch close-up routine performed by Selvester himself.

Josh,
Really, Buy a copy of Bobo's New Modern Coin Magic. You can't learn sleight of hand from an internet message board. There are dozens and dozens of tricks in the book. More than you'll ever use...

The Copper Silver Transposition using the Sun & Moon coin, I first saw it suggested in Fred Kaps lecture notes. It was only one sentence in the notes, the notes are sold by Magic Inc. Chicago. Basically the same as the Roth routine, but you start clean and end clean. I hold on to the spectator hand with the shell classic palmed. Covers the palm much better. My gaff was made by Todd Lassen. One of my favorite routines.

Hi,

There are many great coin routines, but I think that a little coin manipulation with a final “out of the spectators hand” disappearance, via the raven gives me the best reaction.

I like a simple copper silver transpo or inseparable pair. That always kills people. The coins have nowhere to go even by magic...it boggles their mind.

If you have ever been on the receiving hand (which means; being the spectator yourself) of Michael Ammar's INCREDIBLE COINS ACROSS, then you know what it feels like to have had the experience of one of the BEST Close-Up coin routine in magic.

In my humble opinion, the last coin in this routine is as close to pure magic as it can be! (it just seems to materialize in front of you!!!!!)

My 2 cents (or was it a Morgan silver dollar ?!?)

Really, I cannot choose one.

I just discovered the C/S transpo that Jay Sankey published in his 3-rings circus DVD. I find it really nice. (requires a c/s)

The ones I perform on a regular basis is a 3 coins across with the last one turning into a Jumbo one (I'll try it in the spec's hand.)
Crowded coins by Paul Wilson.
The coin into the pen cap, with a pseudo-explanation ("this coin is gaffed to be inserted in the cap") and turning it into a Jumbo coin.

Totally impromptu: Greg Wilson's coin across (in "On the spot") using the Tenkai pinch.
Jonathan.

Starting to consider getting a nice quarter sized sun/moon set made.

I too liked the Kaps thing from his notes. Lots of goodies in those few pages.
