Not to worry, There is talk of them using this stuff in childrens toys. It will be recalled in no time.

Well I don't know about recalls, but it will probably be a while before the major rubber band manufacturers change to the substance. It would cost them a lot to do so. Not to mention, the price of a rubber band is so cheap it is hard to imagine the need to have to have one that you can reseal.

A serious band shark is very fussy about using only pure rubber rubber bands, and a synthetic rubber band just won't work.

Wow! That stuff is pretty cool. I don't think it will effect anything in our work. Don't you give out the rubber bands to examine before, after, and sometimes during the effect. It would be easy to prove you are not using "self- healing" rubber bands...

Besides- people already believe you are using "self-healing" rubber bands half the time... Even after they handle them. Because- you know- there has to be some mechanical trick to it, I could never be sleight of hand for some reason....
