Gambling Invisible Thieves (a television casino cheating expose that never aired and is often mistaken as volume #5 of the series) http://www.casinogameprotection.com/index.html Any info about this?

Gambling Invisible Thieves was intended for television and never released. I have a half hour version that had been edited down from the original one hour. It has blackjack mucks, a blackjack cold deck, some crap table moves and slot machine moves. Plus my copy has a cool ad for the Gambling Protection series, special TV offer all four for 249.00 a savings of 83.00.
I had been invited to watch the taping of this through the producer Paul Donnelly who also produced the Gambling Protection series. Would anyone know whatever happened to Paul Donnelly, last I saw him would be the early 90's. Ron |

It was the type of thing you could only get from Steve, and there's nothing more to add besides what Ron said.
I believe both the 30 and 60-minute versions will be included as extras on the upcoming DVD set release.

I think they will have to have something new on them to sell.

Just to let you guys know - Jason and I just recently transfered the hour long version from the original one inch master of " Invisible Thieves" to digital and it looks great and it will be part of the new DVD GPS series along with some other fun stuff. You guys will love it. Trust me.

Hi Damian, The original producer Paul Donnelly told me during the production of Invisible Thieves he was doing live cuts saving the generation loss associated with pre digital editing. Paul was extremely quality conscious in his work, the first GPS tapes that came from Paul were of outstanding quality. The GPS tapes most of you have were made in a duplication house from a 3/4 sub-master and just don't measure up to the originals.
I'm looking forward to seeing these tapes in the high quality that's now possible along with the additional footage Steve has given Jason. Oh and finally getting to see the full version of Invisible Thieves will be cool. Best of luck to you and Jason with this project. Ron |

Sounds cool. My above remark refers to the fact that the old tapes have been well pirated on the net.

Glad it's on digital now and you'll get a kick out of seeing the full one hour version as well. Who wouldn't want to see Steve in a sleeveless muscle shirt dealing cellars right? Damian

Just a follow-up. I finally got the "missing" footage from SF. It looks great. Lots of new stuff to play with.
Tomorrow afternoon we're filming the final sequence for the bonus disc of the set. It will be a brief walk-through of Steve's private museum. I hope to be able to get him to sit down and share a few other things with the camera before we wrap for the day. I'm guessing the DVDs will be out later this summer (we're obviously well past Spring 2008), but I'm not promising anything. I just know that this shoot tomorrow is the last major obstacle standing in our way. Jason

In this months Genii magazine, Richard Kaufman writes about Jason showing some previously unseen footage of Steve Forte in action at the recent "31 Faces North" get together in Toronto.
Kaufman commented that it blew all in attendance away, and there was some fairly heavy guys watching this stuff, being as the "31 Faces" event brings in a lot of the best and most knowledgeable card magic guys around. Presumabley this is the "new" footage to be included in the DVD's Perhaps Jason can illuminate further? |

Seems like the new site is designed by the Bucks, are they producing the DVDs as well?

I am not sure why the bucks and Mr. Forte would ever be mentioned in the same sentence. (except that one)
