Hey gang,

I just did a photo shoot with Andy Still in Chattanooga. Take a look:
http://andystill.smugmug.com/gallery/4412532_ejfb8#259222691

He is really good, really affordable and really fast! We did these Saturday, and he's already gone through 600 images and narrowed it down to these 22 - and airbrushed and enhanced them! How's that for service?

It is worth the time, trip and money to go see Andy...

E-mail me, and I'll hook ya up!
Swing hard, swing often, and we'll catch ya on the Flip-Side!

John: Great shots there, my friend. Andy certainly does some nice work. It is so evident that he is a pro in the usage of color, contrast, and also creativity of the shots. As a designer, it is refreshing for me to see the angles he shot you at. I love some of the bird's eye view shots, and the ones with the graffiti background just really look striking and different. Thank you for sharing these with us. I really enjoyed them. It is so important that the photographer capture not just a good picture, but your personality as well. I think he did just that.

Who was that man in those Foster Grants? Big Daddy may be cool, but when he is cool, he is hot!

John,

The photos look awesome. Nice job. The only concern I have is the background seems like the curtains can use some steam work to get the wrinkles out. I may be being really picky about nothing, but it's something that jumps out at me. But other than that, they are awesome and great colors. Brings out personality and style. The purple glass goes AWESOME with your tie.

I also liked them. They are all good, but several say "attitude", and those are the ones I like the most. They define a character, and that's what sets you apart from others in the client's mind.

Best,

Tim

Thanks, Timothy - that was what I was going for. Andy Still is not only a great photographer, but he is a professional magician and actor, and a really good friend. He knew exactly what I was going for and how to capture it - I'm really pleased. I can't wait to see them fully enhanced and airbrushed!

BDC,
They look great! This is Jeff - I met you at MagiFest this year. Loved your lecture! The pics capture the character that you portray very well.
Best of luck,
Jeff

I like the more natural photos best. The more posed ones (e.g. 10 and 4) fail to capture your "larger then life" character, whereas 7 and 8, while less high-energy, are more real. They make you look like a fun guy, who is in charge of the room.

John,
I also met you at Magi-Fest this year and 5 minutes into your lecture I was a fan. I have learned a lot from your book (Theatrical Magic)! Anyone interested in having a personality while they perform needs this book! Anyone not interested in having a personality while they perform REALLY needs this book.

I like #8 and #18.
