The Gecko doesn't require you to wear a specific jacket (as a topit does), it can be used while wearing a sweatshirt, overshirt, jacket, or vest; and it can be transferred effortlessly from one to another. I have all of the items mentioned (TT, Vernet Universal, Topit) as well as countless others, the Gecko is simply the lightest, least intrusive, most adaptable, and most capable vanisher I've ever seen.

Hello DVLKCC,
To answer your question,we carry both the Transformer and Gecko. As I stated in my post earlier there is a world of difference between these two products. I know this to be true as I can compare both side by side. You can't even put the Transformer in the same category as the Gecko. The Gecko is a far superior product in quality, performance and versatility. I hope this answers your question. Best regards Paul Gross Owner Hocus Pocus |

Paul, not really. But thank you for responding, your opinion is valued.
I actually bought the Gecko from your company and it arrived VERY fast and in perfect condition. Will take advantage of your current promotion on Hocus Pocus. Thanks.

It's good to have dealers like Paul. They tell you like it is.

Then there is the pull which is smaller then the gecko. So actually the gecko takes a bit more room then the pull (sorry my logic ). But like I said, I don't relly have the Gecko so my opinion isn't really valued |

There is a time and place for everything.
I use a Topit, TT, and the Gecko when I am getting down and serious. The Gecko takes up very little space. If I wear the Topit with the Gecko, it is worn differently than when I have the Gecko but no Topit. With larger objects the Topit can work with the Gecko. cheers, Eric |

It gives you less to keep track of. 3: The Vernet Universal, a TT, and a topit are not smaller than the Gecko when combined - which is what we're talking about. To get most (though not all) of the Gecko's capability from existing items, you would need to use all 3, hence that is the only way to compare them. 4: It's not that your opinion isn't valued - it's that it's not accurate. If you don't have a Gecko, voicing of potential concerns is certainely relevant; but you can't give an evaluation of a product you don't have - which is what you're trying to do. Quote:

I have this on its way...I was wondering....after I "VANISH" an item....let say a Finger Ring...can it easily to be retriefed without the Audience knowing this...so I can load the just Vanish Ring in to somplace else ..... and create a Transpotition effect......Since I love doing Richard Sanders Interlace and Stop doing it because the Vanish is not that Super ultra Clean

Mesmer it's good to know that the st***y d**s are really strong when they're new and you won't be able to easily release an object from the gecko with one hand, let alone discretely.

It has nothing to do with finger strength. It's the strength of the st***y d**s. And depending on what you're vanishing, it may be near impossible to release the object from the gecko without wrestling with it. The gecko likes to latch onto certain materials.

It takes a certain level of finger strength to do this effectively. If your d**s are too strong, dab them with your thumb a few times before you vanish something. That should make the release a lot easier.

Of course, that also reduces the life of the St***y D**s.
I found that 3 new d**s can do about 20-30 vanishes. The pack comes with something like 50. That is about 333 vanishes. It's a pretty good ratio. I truly believe you get what you pay for. If you "dab them with your thumb" maybe you'll get about half of that, but that's still pretty good. Have you guys found the a similar ratio? |

The kit comes with 125.
I've been using them one at a time. Though using 3 simultaneously guarantees a better grip, it also means difficulty in removal and greater chance that one of them will come off on the vanished object. I'm getting about 30 vanishes to the d*t.
