Very cool. But don't sweat those home prices. I live in Bergen County, NJ. More expensive than Beverley Hills...No B.S. Not only that, NJ has the HIGEST property taxes in the nation, not to meantion higest auto insurance. I have never been to that part of cali ! I lived in San Diego for a few years aftre I got out of the Navy. I know what you're saying about the snow and the beach all in the same day! I loved it!!!
Maybe one day we can set up a lecture for Rocco out there. Then I'll get a free trip out of it...hey now! The rich gettin richer, the poor get the picture and we got the power to learn. Justin |

The bay area may be one of the most perfect areas to live, that is where I left a bit more than a year ago. Only problem is it is extremely expensive and that is why I had to leave, lost the job and that was it.... The problems with it are too much traffic, too much noise, the people tend to be rude because they are too busy and don't care. I lived there for about 24 straight years and in that time I made the trip for pleasure to San Francisco about three times (not including sporting events, which I went to pretty often), Berkeley once, Napa never. I lived half an hour from the beach, if I went once a year it would be surprising. Why? I had to work, work all week then work from home on weekends and when I wasn't working I was working gigs.
I'm very happy here in the middle of nowhere. No traffic, horses running around, people are very nice and polite. I can be in Reno for nightlife in less than an hour, Lake Tahoe in an hour. We have everything that is important in life, brothels, bars, casinos, and in a couple months sushi. |
