I'm requesting a change of rules here. A great number of these people are puritans anyway, as gentle as a flower on a Spring morning. I'm talking guys that you can walk up to them, slam 'em, take their wallet, kiss their wife, and they would still open the door for you because they would be afraid to hurt your feelings. So putting 'day 2' after their posts means nothing because they are doing nothing different. Now what I want to see are the evil guys, like Tim, behave themselves while the puritanical gentle new age PC types who have been whipped into submission by life have to spend 31 days living in the dark side, that would be interesting. What do you think Tim? Good idea? Note if you say it isn't I'll take it as a flame.

MagicSanta,

I'd say your posts in this thread have helped me in making my point more than you realize. I completely understand that was not your intention but I thank you anyway. You have not let me down.

Best,

Tim

MagicSanta,

I think I understand. Are you trying to play the roll of an Antagonist? If so, that's okay. It does prove Tim's point. And in every good plot you have to have an Antagonist so that the victory of the Protagonist is even sweeter. If I'm wrong, hey my door is always open.

What was that famous quote from the dark side? Oh ya, "you are your father's son".

I do not believe in history anyone named Kipp has robbed a bank or shot the teller, and he's from Boise! Pure as the driven snow far from human influences. I tell you I'm not impressed with the gentle folk being good. Kipp, come hang with me for a weekend and we'll see if you have a burning desire to change your name to Rocky or Thugster....

Tim,

Thanks for doing this. All one has to do is read the Café’ rules and they will realize that what you are proposing hear is not only a good idea, it is expected behavior from all members. We as humans seem to place little value on what we receive for free. This forum is FREE and we are guests of Mr. Brooks who seems to give his guests the benefit of doubt many times.

I also agree with disclosure. You are a few clicks away from my home address!

Hello Ken,

It is I who must thank you and all the others who are willing to give this a try. As you say... it's merely asking people to play by the rules.

Best,

Tim

Hey, that guy is from Atlantic City New Jersey, he likely wacked a guy earlier today and dumped the body in a swamp stuffed into a barrel!

Josh,

You took the red pill didn't you? Well done.

Keep all your quotes! Your posts are a delight and are never taken seriously or as insulting by anyone. Even the " lying piece of crap" post was taken in good spirit. The person it was directed at gave you more of the same right back at you and then asked for more!

To those who maybe misunderstand... I am in no way suggesting some squeaky clean sugar and spice Café. That would be worse than even I could imagine. LOL I'm merely suggesting some respect be included along with differences of opinions.

Mr. Muggle.. your addition is most appreciated as well.

Best,

Tim

Sickening Sweet Alert! ( you were warned)

If I was MagicSanta... I'd love to be of help. that's what the Café is all about.... Magicians Helping Magicians. Truth is I have no idea what the stuff is. I read your other post looking for help and it was all gobbly gook to me. Good Luck in your quest.

End of Sickening Sweet Alert. (its safe to come out now)

Best,

Tim

You know, some of you may not agree with this, but I feel that this is not only my usual MO, but that I remain much nicer than I most likely should under relentless assault, generally. I have been in the midst of some of the nastiest flame wars in this forum, and even then, I try to remain polite, clear, and informative. I would actually like to know if it doesn't appear that I do that. It is very very difficult to be reasonable, when you are the only person who is.

Whoops!

Just to clarify I was saying " If I was a Six Sigma type...MagicSanta" I wasn't saying " If I was MagicSanta". I can see how it might read like that though.

Mr. Bill D Entertainer linked to this thread from another, so I just found out about it this morning.

This is a great idea, Tim. Thanks for bringing it to the Café.

I'm going to do my best to bring this into my real, non-cafe life as well...we'll see how that goes.

Best wishes,

Brian
