I'm going to call the hall of fame wednesday and see if I can buy some tickets to the induction in 5 years. That should include Farve.
Vandy, What do you think Aaron Rodgers is thinking today? I'd be scared. I hope he knows that no matter what he does he will never compare to Favre. As Packer Fans we have been very lucky to have had such a great QB and such a great run of winning teams. I hope this isn't the start of another long streak of losing seasons. |

If theres no bad blood then maybe Brett will come back for autograph signings and alumni day and fan fest. Seeing how Brett has stayed in touch with the community and his old college, Southern Ms, here at home over the years, I think he will do the same with the Green Bay fans. That will always be his second home and I’m sure he will return often. Having watched Brett grow up, he not only turned out a great player but a great person. A good ole boy all around. I want to thank all his supporters here at the Café for all the support, his fans have been a big help in his success. I agree, he will be missed on Sundays by many. Tom

I'm in denial. I won't believe it until I see the Pack take the field without #4.

I want to be there when they retire his number. I missed the game that they retired Reggie White's by a week.
Whoever the QB is, I think they need to get a veteran FA, he will be inheriting a very good team. The Packers have a good RB, good receivers and a GREAT Defense, hopefully Rodgers or whoever won't cost them games. I watched the first half of the Packers-Seahawks preseason game and Rodgers has fumbled TWICE and had 2 good drives, the Packers NEED a good Free Agent QB. |

Greatest quarterback - Brett Favre
Greatest running back - Walter Payton Greatest wide receiver - Jerry Rice What do they all have in common?
Things are more like they are today than they've ever been before...

Mississippi ?
Rice is amazing. Conversations over who was the greatest QB and people will respond Montana, Favre, Unitas, Elway, Marino etc Ask who was the greatest RB and the response will be Payton, Jim Brown, Sanders, etc.. But ask who was the greatest receiver and 99% of the answers will be Jerry Rice. |

Players like Favre, who are highly motivated and driven to perfect their game each time out, work through the progression and have success. Others don't. I don't know how much significant playing time Rogers has had. No doubt you know Rogers much better than I. He played well against Dallas last year, BUT - most of his passes were short passes where his receivers did most of the damage after the catch.

Brett has one of THE best steak houses on Stadium drive, or he did 10 years ago. Right near the hotel.
But good news. Mrs. Brett Farve will be quarterbacking next year because she was at some team parties and feels she is qualified. Well not really but it seems to me someone else is running for an office based on this fact also LOL.
