Can anyone tell me with absolute certainty the year that Williamson's Wonders was first published? I purchased a used copy and want to make sure that it is a first edition. Mine says copyright 1989

Usually with Kaufman's books, its pretty easy to tell if its first edition. With Williamson's Wonders, its pretty much the same.
1) If there's a dust cover, its usually first edition. 2) Under the published date, several lines below, you'll see First Edition printed on it. Hope this helps. |

Did the first edition have a slip-cover? I thought it had the graphics right on the cover like Bannon's Smoke & Mirrors.

I am completely unfamiliar with this book. Are the effects/sleights considered to be intermediate or intermediate/advanced?
Thanks, Angelo |

This book is awful, not a single thing of use. I don't recommend it at all. I especially do not recommend The Whirly Bird Silk Vanish, 51 Cards to Pocket and ESPECIALLY I do not recommend Torn and Restored Transposition. There is nothing to see here at all....move along, move along.

It's not even worthy as a doorstop (too thin) or scraps for the fire

Williamson is shockingly adept. I was fortunate to have worked with him at an early IBM convention. Is he still out there working??
