Posted this in Latest and Greatest, but I thought it would make sense to post it here as well...
Anyone have this yet? It was just announced in his newsletter, but I believe he's been selling them at lectures. The price is VERY reasonable and the special feature is very cool. Just looking for any feedback on the actual quality of this shell, from someone who may own it already.

I doubt that the gimmick is real coinage since you are probably looking at a stamped [ and not one that has been turned. The only question that might arise is what is the thickness of the metal and how much abuse can it stand up to? That may be the reason for the price being a rather inexpensive twofer'.
FWIW Cheers!

Yes, the question about it's durability and practicality as a working shell in general, is what I am inquiring about. Honestly, the special feature, while pretty cool (imo), is not the real attractiveness of this to me. If this is a nice, durable ] that can stand being used on a regular basis in the restaurant week after week - then the price is what I am most attracted to here!

Nathan explained to me that the reasson for the cheap price ($15 each or 2 for $20) - was that they are pressed from metal, not from actual coins. Guess that makes sense.
I still wonder about the quality, durability, and how well it will match my other halves - but I guess for $15, the easiest thing to do is buy one and judge for myself. I'll post a review if/when I do get get one.

I received a set. Quite honestly they are pretty nice. They are durable and yes
they look like brand new shiny coins, but if you clean up a real Kennedy half they match up well. They are thin but as I said they are durable / strong and I feel will hold up very well. I'm pleased.

They are not chromed! It's called a flash from my camera because I suck at taking pictures. : )
If you are looking for a very inexpensive shell that works like a charm, and looks great. This is for you.... All the best, Kranzo P.S. Not made by me nor my design... I just like them.
