A couple of years ago, I purchased the "2001/2002 Trade Show and Convention Guide" from Amusement Business. I was trying to update my guide and AB no longer publishes it. The Eddie Turlock videos reference a "bible", but in running down that address, it appears that they are no longer in business either.
I have been searching the Internet for the past two days in search of a similar publication. Does anybody have any links? I would sure appreciate it. Thanks, in advance. Steven

I had the same difficulties finding the book referenced. Instead, I went to my local library and asked if they had the book in quiestion, and I was told that it is no longer produced by Bill Inc. However, they did provide me with the current trade show "bible." At the moment, I do not have the specific title in front of me, but I can provide it later today.
What a great resource! Taske care, Craig Wilson |

Hi Steven...
You may want to contact the publishers of a magazine called "Carnival". Ask to purchase the Feb 2003 issue. In that issue they list the 2003 IISF Trade Show Exhibitors List with almost 300 trade show exhibitors, i.e. names, addresses, phone numbers, email, fax, web, etc. The publishers may know where you can obtain other info as well. Do me a favor (others of you as well please also) and tell them Doc Dazzal sent ya! Good luck... continued success. Carnival Magazine 704-636-0878 Fax: 704-636-1051 Best Regards, Doc Dazzal |

If you don't want to spend the money for the Gale Group book, however, you can find much the same information (tradeshows, venues, contacts, etc.) online at Tradeshow Week.
And the beauty of the online version is that you can sort it by dates, cities, industries, etc., etc. Not to mention that it's free. ... Doug
