If you are in the Uk then http://thegreent.co.uk/ make the best decks, cheap too. ( They are still the best even if you don't live in the UK. but just a bit more expensive for you.)

An ID treated with Science Friction is amazing to use. It fixes all the R/S problems. You can either buy one direct from Card Shark, or get the spray and make them yourselves.

I've been thinking about this too, and you only need to treat half the cards. Actually I've found that you only need to rough one card of each pair with the Robson roughing stick, although careful handling is needed to avoid flashing.

If you find some roughing spray you can make any of your favorite decks into an invisible deck

Invisible deck from most magic suppliers are very good especially if Bicycle. I now make my own decks with roughing spray as I use a few in performances so always have a new deck ready in supply once original worn a bit. Also a good tip is to use Jumbo Invisible deck for stage events-I use a tennis ball to use with crowds and have 1 part of the audience select a colour, 1 part select a suit and finally the name of a card...reactions and comments are always positive as an incredible effect etc...good luck

I second the Phoenix ID from Christian Schenk at Card Shark, with Science Friction. Best ID out there, by far, and the best solution to roughing fluid problems.

There's a gentleman in my local magic club that does a killer invisible deck routine. The act he does with it would rival any professional magician. Did I mention, he's well into his 80's and lives in assisted living? He comes in with his Walker. I always enjoy having a conversation with him, because he gives advice that's right on the money. He told me how to make my own deck. I did and it works great. Later, I came across instructions in a magic book, they were exactly what he said. Other advice he's given me has been equally as good. Oftentimes people discount the elderly as having nothing to offer, when in fact, they are brimming with useful words of wisdom. All you have to do is take the time to listen!

Harry Lorayne is in his 90s and is still dropping jaws with great magic!

I think the Brainwave Deck is a little over the top. Don't much care for the 2nd surprise...overkill IMHO.

I made a ID from a single deck the other day and have been tinkering around with it. Still like the original ID, but I'm starting to like this one, too.

Brainwave deck is strong when the back of the card is a different color. I have done both invisible and brainwave and get better reactions with brainwave deck.

I prefer the Brainwave deck too. With the Invisible Deck, I've had comments like "you could have flipped over the card when I wasn't looking."

I make my brainwave deck from a single red bike deck, I think that the reversed card is enough and that the odd back is overkill. plus you only need one deck to construct it, not two

I have tried to make my own deck with clear spray and all I achieved with this is a really nice high. I purchased an item call roughing stick and can make an invisible deck out of any band of card an set them up any way I want. You can make a deck in minutes and can make many of them with this cheap professional product.Tip I match hearts to diamonds and spades to clubs. No one has called me on it yet look on vanishing for the product

Isn’t that an Invisible Deck?

Best I own is the phoenix deck from Card Shark. I also have their Brainwave deck. When you're buying there pick up a tin of Science Friction too !!

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Mimesis Magic and their invisible decks. They work well and separate nicely. Once you buy one you can figure out how to touch them up or make your own. Or buy more from them and support their work. I like these decks.

This is a good idea Smile and would also take care of those pesky spectators that notice things well.
