What is your best/favorite double? I prefer the "Domico domico" lift from "Card Control Practical Methods" & "Fourty Original Card Experiments"
So what is yours? |

Mine is push off by paul carry double lift...
Very visual, all you need to do is just push the top card which look like you are just pushing the top card but it is a double push off.... Wonderful idea and great.... Symmatrix.

Vernon's DL, it's natural and very convincing. It's embarrassing to watch magicians do fancy, rotating double-lifts. It's like they're trying to get caught

I was watching DAry's ACR video and I noticed before his explainations that I can see the deck sort of buckling from his thumb roll on his double lift during his performance. Anybody else notice that or had spectators to notice it when you do that dl?

My favourite double lift is doc daley's strike double lift, or just a pinkie count before i flip the cards over. Another is one i came up with which makes the cards appear very singular, works pretty well on magis... =p

Strike double is my fave, tho' I'm currently learning Krenzels "Natural Double lift" which is also quite nice.

Stuart Gordon double is the most nautural of the handlings that I've tried. Even more natural than Dingle's/Krenzel's. I think a good description is in Jenning's '67.

I do Hamman's. There's absolutely no get-ready and it looks natural. Plus you can just as easily get triples.

I use a hit double, it's natural for me to turn a single over like this as well.

I like LePaul's strike type method. Sometimes I use Martin Nash's Knock Out Double Lift.

Currently I do a double push-off get ready, followed by a book turn over or stud turn over.
But I am working on the pinky count, to replace the double push-off. Steve |
