I just plain out asked if it was the same on T11's forums, lets see what they say, 2 people coming up with the same thing does happen pretty often, no reply yet though. someone brought it up in the review section, and I thought it looked similar as well, but of course we don't know anything on the method of prophet, that's why I'm saying "looks similar". hopefully someone with EB will buy this and clue us in for sure without speculation

the others I mentioned are here http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......tart=238

One would hope that since Tom and the T11 guys know how Prophet works, one of them would buy EB to make sure any similarities in methodology are minimal before releasing Prophet.

Based on the counting/showing of the bills in the Prophet Youtube video, I don't think the method is the same as EB. We'll see!

Shouldn't it also be called Profit and not Prophet

I was just going to mention that; as they've opted for 'Prophet' over 'Profit', perhaps there's a mentalism flavour to the effect we haven't yet seen? There could be more to it.

None of the other names have had anything to do with the effect, I'm sure they used prophet instead of profit, purly for marketing reasons

It's probably a play on words. You can say someone that can magically make money is a modern day "prophet" (considering our worlds revolve around money).

I still think your getting to far away from the cool name marketing aspect

I guess digital dissolve also sounded cool, but there was nothing digital or dissolving about it. The only T11 product that had a fitting name was TnR, so I guess Josh's theory stands.

"Digital" probably refers to the fingers (digits). "Dissolve" refers to one coin dissolving into another (at the fingers).

Just a guess but it seems to make sense.

Nice! Quick and open change. That's a better demo.

I'm not sure what you mean. It looks pretty good to me.

What he means, is that you release a video that shows only a taste to start people talking then you slowly let them in more to add buyer confidience.

hype.

I'll be interested to hear side-by-side comparisons of how different Prophet is from Extreme Burn. Is Prophet available yet or is there a release date?

Wow, I sure misread/misinterpreted that comment. That is why I should not post that early in the morning.

Partially my fault for not elaborating as well. Shouldn't post that early? I don't even want to be up that early. Smile
