So, how do you use, or would you use (if you had them) the nest of clocks? I'm looking for funny family shows routine ideas. Thoughts?

I should receive them tomorrow through UPS. I ordered...
http://www.magictricks.com/stage/nestclocks.htm Of course you can pull the nest of clocks from anywhere. I saw this youtube clip of Al Flosso a while ago. He ends by pulling a bunch of stuff, including five clocks, from his hat. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uxl7cMTsn4M I have a square circle that I might pull them from, but I am wondering if anyone has other ideas... |

Used to have a set, along with an Abbotts "ringing clock stand" that was very nice, but found them to not be very recognizable these days. Everybody knows what they are, but who has analog clocks around the house anymore? This stand also made them ring.
If you're interested in that sort of thing, PM me, and I can give you instructions on building one of those. Not difficult. Steve |

Maby you could youse it with the ringing sound. A clock rings (in the morning) and you try to get rid of it. Then just anoter clocks rings and again.... André |

Okay, I have received my nest of clocks. I'm excited about them, although they are definitely old school. I wish Morrissey would give the clock faces a makeover. The printer quality that the face of mine were made on is really terrible. But, on the other hand, they are only in view a short time, and they are clearly identifiable as a clock with a bell and all. Ultimately it is the size or volume that they take up that is so impressive.
I have installed a bell on the underside of my Joe Lefler table. The bell will be right under the square circle from which I will pull my clocks. Each will ring, and alert me to pull another out. Funny stuff. Here is what the bell looks like... http://www.hometrainingtools.com/catalog......kit.html I just have to press a button to get a ring. |

On page 106 of "Practical Magic for Kid Show and School Show Entertainers", Duane Laflin has some patter he uses with his nest of clocks when doing an educational routine. "Time" is the word he emphasises in the sentence when he is produces the clock again and again, and is talking (a visual pun).

Thanks for the tip Donald. I'll be on the look out for that book.
