Hi,
I am looking for a pen or method that will mean the spectator cannot remove the lid from a pen unless I say they can. Any ideas appreciated. Anthony

Not quite sure if I understand your query Anthony. Can I ask why you don't use hypnosis; such as stiff arm/feet stuck to floor etc: or am I missing something here? Are you looking for a method other than hypnosis?

The word "method" is in his message. Easy way would be to switch for a cap glued on.

Ah yes Pete.
I'd suggest either pk m.....s or a switch through slee.ing. I'm sure there's a great method similar to the bell that rings for you but not for them? But I can't remember who manufactures it.

I would go with what Pete said. A switch would work well.

Switch would work well in a show where, through 'pacing', you move it on as you wish but NOT necessarily 1 on 1, where they like to look, touch, ask questions etc

What I want is to be able to hold the end of a pen (like a biro) and demonstrate that I can remove and put on the lid on the other end. I want a spectator to be able to remove the lid and put it back on while I hold the other end and without any switching they try again and fail to remove it, then they can remove it etc.
Thanks for the ideas so far. Anthony

If you are using a Bic Round Stic, a switch may not be necessary. If you glue a cap on one side and put an unglued cap on the other . . . well, I'll let you figure out the rest.

Sounds like a good idea to me too.
No trees were killed in the making of this message, but a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.
