At an early dessert seminar there was a magician(I believe from France) who had a table that did all the work. The insides were incredible. This same magician(perhaps named Philippe) also did a great comedy parody with "rocks" over the head.
This was about 1981.(or so) At first he did use covers(hands or cards) with very clean handling then for comedy effect the objects moved "by themselves" Does anyone remember this and the correct name??? That was the last convention I attended before going to last years The Workshop in St.Joseph. There I got to see Jason D.'s fine showing of the Magical Barber's Explosion. Harris Harris

I had forgot about 'Translocation' thanks Reed! I remember seeing Chris Korn do an instant reverse at the end of 'Translocation'. Does anyone have some info on an instant reverse?
Thanks, Jason |

While Kennedy's initial version did not include a backfire, I know for sure that he later developed one and I think but I'm not 100% sure that he included it in lecture notes...if nobody else can confirm that definitively, you might want to check with John directly.

well one friend of mine confirmed me that the backfire kennedy is doing in the tape i mentioned which is apparently the sme one chris korn is doing when performing this efect , mark leffler's,
concerning the "kenner's" touches is it more likely to say "kenner/liwag/korn"'s touches ? |

Kenner came up with the touches and then showed them to Liwag and Korn. Liwag then came up with an instant assembly called flashrice.

Having the X-Files available on Amazon Prime Video, specifically Season 7, Episode 8: "The Great Maleeni" is nice. One can see Jonathan Levit (Billy LaBonge) perform Shadow Coins/Chink-a-Chink towards the beginning of the episode. Some nice card work by the late, great Ricky Jay, is also included. One of my favorite episodes from my all-time favorite series.
