My neighbor builds radio control model airplanes and just showed me something cool.
He uses a glossy material that comes in colors by the sheet or roll. You could wrap tubing, or items with it, then apply a heat source and it bonds itself to the item. He cut two pieces of silver for me and a piece of black and made me a very nice magic wand with a tube of brass. I have not figured out what to do with it as of yet, but I felt that you guys may be interested in this material from a model airplane or hobby shop. Cheers Steve |

Not only can you find it there,you can get it at most hardware stores.

I think it's called MonoKote. Here is the website:
http://www.monokote.com/ It even has instructions on how to use it (for model airplanes, but use your imagination). I always thought that this material would give a prop a "Lacquered" look without the effort. 0pus |

Go to tower hobbies.com for monokote it's cheaper and they have alot of styles to choose from...good luck.
