My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Thank God they caught it in time.
When I was in the Navy, while out to sea two of my shipmates had burst apendix. One guy had to be airlifted to Perth Austrailia When we were in the Indian Ocean. The second guy, when we were pulling into Pearl Harbor. The only thing I remember was one of them had a bloted abdomin, I think? Oh well...speedy recovery. 23 (psalm???) |

Doug, I'll keep your son in my prayers. I hope he gets all better.
Humans make life so interesting. Do you know that in a universe so full of wonders, they have managed to create boredom. Quite astonishing.

I wish your son a speedy and full recovery. David
Yes, I am a magician. No I did not make my hare (hair) disappear... it just took early retirement.

Doug - Add my name to those wishing for your son's speedy recovery.
I'd like to add that there has to be a happy medium between "toughing it out" and being thought a "hypochondriac." (sp?) The case of Jim Henson who decided to work through his "annoying little cold" and ended up dying of a virual infection!

Doug,
Your whole family is in our prayers, God Bless. Tom
Our friends don't have to agree with me about everything and some that I hold very dear don't have to agree about anything, except where we are going to meet them for dinner.

I'll say a prayer.

Doug, just prayed for you and Jason.
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

Hanging in there this morning. Still touch and go untill the threat of massive infection passes. The med team seems highly proficient which is a blessing for sure.
I worry as well about my Daughter in law, who is to the max in her engineering biz and who yesterday also had the youngest (Johnathan) in the hospital with the Mumps. Geez. Good training for the oldest daughter (Rebecca) who is getting set to go off to Medical school to become a Pediatrics Doctor specializing in BABY people. This is an incredibally STRONG and tight knit family group and I couldn't be more proud of them. Slim knows...he played a Birthday Party a few weeks ago for Rebecca's 18th and Bev Bergeron did my other Grandaughter's (Mindy) 8th birthday last year. Your thougths mean a great deal so thank you for EVERY one! I figure in another couple of days it will all be OK. Doug
