Hi Don,
A routine is included with the effect in the instructions, but the instructions are neither a book or a DVD. The routine you choose to do is up to you. Offered with the effect and here at the Café, you'll find some "tips" on how to make it an even stronger presentation. The great thing though about either of Bob's silk to egg products, and what gets all the rave reviews, is the "realness" of the eggs. |

I'm sold. I'm putting this one on my Christmas list. A suggestion for keeping the egg cold without a refrigerator. Instant cold packs. You know, the kind that you break a capsule inside the pack, and it becomes cold. Think of it as a fridge in your pocket. Here's a reasonable deal on Amazon for a case of them.

If you plan on doing any routine with fake eggs, the only ones that will pass in the hands of the spec. are Bob's.
The silks and routine are a great bonus too. My greatest critic was extremely impressed with Bob's eggs. Good thing I'm not the jealous type. Thanks Bob, Eric the eggasus |

Eric,
Thank you and your "greatest critic". She is right! These eggs do indeed pass for real in the hands of spectators. My act needs that! Bob Sanders Magic By Sander |

Thank you! I will order mine this week and a few silks. I've wanted to do the silk/egg trick for quite some time. I'm glad I waited. I always wanted a brown egg for this.
This looks like a great little magic shop. dsalley13 |

Dsalley13,
Did Santa get it right? I think David was a great Santa's helper. (And he made me stay quiet! LOL) Enjoy your silk and egg magic. Bob Sanders Magic By Sander |

I got mine a couple weeks ago and I am so happy with it as well as all the silks I have received from Bob.
I can't imagine the higher priced silk to eggs to even compete let alone be better than this one. I can honestly say, If anyone is on the fence about getting this, they should toss their worries away and just get it. It is that good. |

Bob,
I love your Silk to Egg routine. I'll be performing it for some older kids at the hospital tomorrow. The eggs you sent are so real looking that David has already fooled me by putting the one without the hole into a basket with eggs that I was using to do some baking. I even picked it up to crack it before I realized it was a fake egg!! I'll get even with you both!!! :o) dsalley13 (definitely an old hippie organic free range chicken type of gal) PS: I can't imagine better silks than what you sent with the silk/egg trick. The purple one from "Santa Sanders" is so beautiful and vibrantly colored. All of them are beautiful. I'll need more!!! Thank you so much. |

This is great as there is a brown version and a fake egg!
I have been searching for a while and it is hard to find a brown version that looks like those sold locally around my area. White color eggs are impossible to find in my area. And the browns ones are small... However, I couldn't find a website selling this with a pic of the brown egg, just pic with white egg, any chance of anyone putting up a pic of the brown egg, I just want to make sure how it looks like, so in the chance sometimes I would like to substitute and use a real egg, I can still do it. Cheers. |

These brown eggs are exactly the same size as the white (USDA grade A Large) eggs. You can get the Walk-around Silk to Egg set directly from me although I am not a retailer. We have no supplier for you in Malaysia. We do ship to the ASEAN nations as well as the UK. Please PM me or send me an email so I can return email with attachments (not possible using the PM system here in the Café). Bob Sanders Magic By Sander |

This sounds great. I do have one question, though, and please don't take this as a criticism of what look like a fine product.
Having done the "traditional" version of this trick for years, I have to tell you I LOVE that moment when the egg is cracked into the glass. Its sooo strong. A natural applause cue and a real sense of mystery and finality. Is that lost in this version? I know its not practical to break the eggs doing walk around, but I'm wondering about the overall impact when the last part of the routine isn't the image of the broken egg, its the image of people passing an egg around looking at it. So, for those in-the-trenches really using this, how does the ending hold up? |

Bsears,
I agree that cracking the real egg is hard to beat. This one has some compensating benefits that often match that. First, you actually hand the eggs to the people at the table and let them hold them an inspect them for themselves. Twice they hold a warm gimmick and once they hold a cold egg fresh from the refrigerator. When they return the cold egg to you the usual response is "It has no hole!" (I;ver never gotten "This is not a real egg". I think you'll see why. And immediately you produce the silk and say, "You didn't see this?" and then hand them the gimmicked egg back and you are clean and ready to complete the reset.
