Rotten.com used to have a section called "This Day in Rotten History". I don't know if they still do. Dubious dates were a specialty.

Seeing as how it's on a Monday this year - shouldn't there be a moment of silence, or lack thereof, at Monday Night Magic?

I would do something special for the day, but I have found that Spiritualism is not all it is cracked up to be.

And the sisters came to bad ends...pauper's graves and such. Sad really. Not really fitting for the founders of a movement.

I would have loved to have seen their toe-cracking in play.

I have often pondered while skeptically viewing "Ghost Hunters" if mere gastronomical sounds silently emitting from the Ghost Hunters" themselves is mistaken for digital sound recordings of ghosts later in the show.

Oh how I want to see a ghost.

I had the distinctive pleasure of going through the House of Seven Gables, with several of the most well-known ghost hunters.

Two of them, in each room, had private conversation about "Did you see that?", and "There wasn't any way we could have known that, right?"

Each emanation they saw, had been mentioned about two rooms previously, either by our tourguide, or on a plaque.

Inside my head, there was howling laughter. Outside, a calm demeanor. It hasn't been easy, but I have learned a little about being diplomatic.
