Can anyone recommend a take apart vanish that would be suitable to vanish a rocky racoon. Unfortunately the one made by Chance Wolf is out of stock and it doesn't look likely it is going to made again soon.

Mark,
At one time I used to perform a Roxie Racoon vanish to bunny bucket routine. The vanish box I used worked great and was fairly inexpensive compared to others. http://themagicwarehouse.com/cgi-bin/findit.pl?x_item=MI2158 |

Since Rocky isn't alive, he can survive where a load of doves or a rabbit wouldn't. What I'm saying is that you don't need an expensive livestock prop for him. Glue a peanut can inside a bucket, cram Rocky inside the little can and put on the watertight lid. Then you can drown him with water and toss out confetti at the end.
You can attach his tail to a stage pull and get rid of him that way under cover of misdirection.

If it makes you feel better, you can say "widgey-widgey-woo" as you cram him into some impossibly small load chamber.

I forgot this is the kiddie section and not the bizarro section. The point is, you can't hurt Rocky, but only you know that, so you don't have to be as cautious with it as you would with livestock. Like your Quazy Quackers Duck, Ventriloguy. You can stab him with needles in a Voo-Doo act and he'll only cry out if you hit yourself.
