Congrats - might have kicked some life into the sandwich card plot.
so what happens when folks grab the kings as they exclaim "oh cool!" ?
...to all the coins I've dropped here

Go directly (with the correct cards) into the Hofzinser ace plot.

Jonathan , I then punch them in the face and say"Hey that's mine!" lol
All jokes aside, Im still looking for the effect I want to transition into. As Don said the Hofzinser Ace plot is one option or any effect utilizing the proper card. The possibiltys are endless. Im currently playing with a handling in which I do a transpo from the red sandwich to the black which would cleen it up. With ideas from Johnnny Thompson Prowling Jokers Routine. SIX |

I just hate gaffs. For the reason Jonathan puts forth in his question.
I also hate the magician's tendency to snap cards every chance they get. Man I have NEVER seen a person outside of magic do that. Why do it? To proclaim "See I only have one card here"? Why is this an impression that is wanted I have no idea. So those two things aside, if I did not hate gaffs, I would think this is a very cool trick. It is very visual.

Well done!
Very organic handling and a nice kicker to the regular sandwich plot! Hope you're feeling better by the way! Logan

Thanks guys,
I am feeling better, but still not 100%. Im just happy to be alive. Danny, Sorry you hate gaffs, I used to also but then found the power they really have on laymen. As a plus I am working out the non gimmicked handeling also. As for the flicking of the cards, I guess it becomes a habbit and creates the moment the magic happens. But definately more of a habit and reputition of seeing it done by other magicians so many darn times. It's kinda sad now that I think about it, Im going to go cry now. Thanks everyone. SIX |

Nice job SIX and I'm glad you're on the mend!
When I started in magic this time around I wanted to remain a purist and gaff free. Because of this I actually became pretty good with my sleights only. Since then I have added a gaff here and a gaff there (mainly with coins) and for me it really added to my arsenal! I truly admire the guys that make it all happen with "regular" cards and coins and I may head back down that path again some day, but for now I enjoy using all the help I can get! As for the flicking, snapping and popping I think it's like anything in magic.... use it sparingly and it can add a little flair but over use it and it becomes mundane IMO! I'll look forward to seeing the gaffless version of this trick! Mick |

I hold only ME to this standard, and do not impose it on anyone else. I just want that clear. As for card flicking and snapping it really has gotten WAY out of control. LOL.

I realized as a worker that using gaffs can only go so far. Some people just use gaffs and after a while it becomes a product demontration instead of a peice of entertainment. So I definately understand where your coming from Danny.
Mick, the ungaffed version is being peiced together but Im not liking it as much. Im going to ask some guys on the second deal for there help in peicing it properly. Any suggestions just PM me . Thanks for the feed back guys, Michael "Snap, crackle and pop" Muldoon lol |
