I was wondering what some effects were to do with light bulbs. I want to incorporate a few in my new act...ANY light bulb effect would be awesome.

Exploding Light Bulb by Yigal Mesika.
Cesaral Magic Bulb by Cesar Alonso. Big Bang by Magic Smith. Exploding Light Bulb. Greater Magic #40 DVD: Mr. Electric (Bill In The Light Bulb) Light Lunch (Bent). Light-Trations by Devin Knight. Magic Light Bulb (Glass). Floating Light Bulb. Light Fantastic. LIVE ELECTRIC LIGHT WIRE. Magic Switchboard. MAYNIA DVD - Andrew Mayne. Sean Bogunia's Lamp. Super Bulb. Telekinetic Bulb Destruction II. MIRACLE LIGHT BULB - DELUXE GLASS. FLOATING LIGHT BULB. LIT BULBS FROM MOUTH. MIRACLE LIGHT BULB - DELUXE EXTRA BRIGHT VERSION. Bazar de Magia Electronic Crasher. I personally use Big Bang by Magic Smith, & I like it. I would like to get Bazar de Magia Electronic Crasher, but it’s a little to expensive. Right now I’m looking for something that will light a bulb up. |

Don´t miss the new version available with the standard B22 bulb base (used in the UK, Australia, South Africa and other countries). You can see it at:
http://www.cesaral.com/Cesaral%20Magic%20Bulb%20B22.htm You will see some advantages in this new model. The most important ones are: 1) Available in cold white or warm white 2) The light comes from the center of the bulb 3) Part of the bulb is really transparent and thus is less suspicious 4) Any lamp with cord switch can be used to demonstrate the bulb and then do the effect. ...don´t miss the initial promotional price... Best regards! Cesar Alonso (Cesaral Magic) |

And in Jim Stienmeyer's book "The Conjuring Anthology" there are two wonderful effects.

I am going to put a light bulb effect out on the market in the next few days. As soon as I get it out there I will post some pitures. Don't want to give to much away just yet, but whenever I perform this effect people love it!

Another vote for the Steinmeyr book....you may also want to check out "The Magic of Alan Wakeling" (also by Steinmeyer) as he had several clever lightbulb effects.

Thurston performed the canary to light bulb. Very much like the milk to light bulb. He would vanish a canary and a canary would appear in the light bulb.
There is the ole carney bit of eating glass - a smashed and ground up light bulb. You can find it in the Swami Magazine. Garry Hayes |
